  • What do I need to do prior my lash extension appointment?
The most important part is to come with no eye makeup on, make sure lashes are squeaky clean and no caffeine before appointment ( As caffeine makes are eyes twitch and harder to isolate applying extensions.) The reason to come with squeaky clean lashes, is throughout the day we sweat, lotions and other oils stay in our lash line. Not removing these from our natural lashes will possibly give you poor retention, resulting in lash extensions popping off. I always wash clients lashes before we start with a lash shampoo, to make sure they squeaky clean.
  • “Do Lash Extensions damage my natural lashes?”
If Lash Extensions are applied correctly (proper technique such as the correct weight and length to compliment your natural lashes), clients are following the proper aftercare instructions, and your not pulling or tugging on your extensions; then lash extensions are not damaging at all! If you have sensitives/allergies to lash extensions a great alternative would be a ‘Lash Lift/Tint” which you can find on page as well.
  • How long do Lash Extensions Last? How often should I get them refilled?
Our natural lashes have a natural shed cycle typically we can loose 2-5 natural lashes per day, and are lashes follow a three-phase growth cycle Anagen, Catagen & Telogen. The average person has anywhere from 150-200 lashes on each lid, with this being said if we are loosing 2-5 natural lashes I recommend getting a fill every 2-3 weeks (As I require 25% to be left on for fill pricing.) However if you are prone to being oily, using oily products (which I recommend getting all products for your face being oil-free as lashes are an investment) environment’s such as pools, saunas, hot tubs, exercising often, hormone changes and different kinds of medication can cause pre-mature lash fall out. As well as weather changes.
  • Can I get my lashes wet? What happens to lashes in Hot Tubs, Steam Rooms etc?"
Yes you can get your lashes wet after 5 mins of application being done if you like, with new research and my fast curing glue no more waiting 24 hrs. (Great for those who have sensitives to lash adhesive, it removes the vapors immediately on your lash line from the adhesive). When you get them wet avoid brushing them when they are soaking wet, used a dry cloth and dab gently downwards with the lashes (no rubbing or tugging while doing so!) Avoid Hot tubs, Saunas, Steam rooms, Hot Yoga, Exercising and Tanning beds for the remainder of the day just to be safe. After that just make sure to cleanse you lashes with oil-free cleanser (I sell the Feather Light Lash 100% Organic Foamy Cleanser) to remove any oils that may happen during.
  • How often should you be cleansing your Lash Extensions?
Lash Extensions love to be squeaky clean, you will find you will have better retention from cleansing everyday. Some clients think by not touching them and never washing them will make them last longer, this is the complete opposite. Your lashes will fall out pre-maturely from oil, sweat, sleep and then can cause allergies/reactions. If your prone to being oily I would recommend washing twice a day or each time you get sweaty/oily . I always show my clients how to properly cleanse after a new lash appointment and have a “How to” video on my Facebook/Instagram page on how to cleanse your lashes properly.
  • Can I wear Mascara with Lash Extensions?
I do not recommend wearing mascara with Lash Extensions as this is why we are putting lashes on you in the first place so you don’t have to. Mascara on lashes will build up in your lash line which means harder to clean and less filling more cleaning for the lash tech. Also most mascara has oil in it, so in turn breaking the bond and your lash extensions are now popping off. You can wear mascara on your bottom lashes, however my biggest thing wearing mascara on your bottom lashes is make sure you are removing all of it before you go to bed to avoid build up in the lash line.
  • What’s the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes?"
Classic lashes is a 1-1 application, so for example one lash extension is applied to one natural lash, giving classic lashes a nice full mascara look. Where volume lashes are 2-5D fans (I make my own fans) so creating a fuller/fluffier look. Hybrid Lashes are a mix of classic and volume lashes, meaning you get the best of both (thicker look from classic and full/fluffy from volume.)
  • What’s the difference between Volume and Volume Plus lashes?
Volume lashes are a fan between 2-5D, Volume Plus are volume lashes that are lighter in weight then regular volume lashes which means we can safely (with no added extra weight) put a fan of 6-12D giving a very dramatic look. Volume and Volume Plus lashes are great for brides as it will stand out nicely in pictures.
  • What Style should I know to go with?
Before we even start your lash appointment I do a little consultation to get to know you and your lashes on what you prefer and what lashes will work best for your own. We discuss curls, styles we can do (Cat eye, Doll eye, Blended, & Strip Lash Look the list simply goes on!) If your new to lash extensions and have never had them before, I always say to start out classic or hybrid.
  • What is the “Strip Lash Look”?
The strip lash look gives the illusion of a “strip lash” giving it a textured look, using different lengths and curls throughout the set. Can be dramatic or subtle.
  • What is the "Wet Lash Look"?
Wet look lashes are created essentially from using lighter lashes to create narrow, pretty much closed volume fans, which are applied to individual lashes to achieve the desired effect. The light, fluttery feel of classic lashes with a spikey, textured volume look.
  • What is the best way to sleep with Lash Extensions?
Sleeping on your back is recommended, however if you simply just cannot get this down, sleeping on your side with a silk pillowcase will help the lashes not snagging to your pillow. If sleeping on your side, you will find you will loose more lashes on the side you sleep on.
  • What is the aftercare?
For the longevity of your extensions it is recommended that: - Washing your lash extensions everyday with a formulated foamy lash cleanser. - Sleeping on your back or if your a side sleeper to sleep with eyemask on. - No products that contain oil for face products. Including makeup that contains oil. - Brushing morning & night with lash comb. - No rubbing, pulling, or picking your lash extensions. - Pat dry wit lint free towel after getting them wet & brush them. - Keep up with regular fills every 2-3 weeks.
  • How long does my hair need to be to wax?
Your hair should be at least a ¼ inch long (about the size length of a grain of rice), to allow the wax to grip around the hair. You need about a week and a half to two weeks of hair growth.
  • How long does a wax last for?
After a clients first waxing, the results can last 3-6 weeks depending on the individuals hair re-growth rate. In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two and noticeably increases in the third and fourth week
  • Can waxing stop hair growth?
Waxing in theory should make your hair regrow finer and lighter if you do it for long enough. Repeated waxing sessions could leave your follicles weakened. It wont ever stop the hair growth forever, but it may mean that the follicles can only produce lighter and finer hair.
  • Will it hurt?
As waxing involves the hair being pulled from the root, its going to have a bit of a sting but bearable. For ladies I would recommend planning your wax before your menstrual cycle happens, as you can be more sensitive.
  • What can I expect after waxing?
You will be red, especially if you have sensitive skin nothing a little aloe cant help. The redness should go down after a couple hours. Do not touch, rub skin for 24hrs, this includes avoiding tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs and etc. Breakouts can occur if your sensitive or if you’ve never been waxed before (this will go away over time and I suggest using alcohol free aloe vera.) After the 24hr mark you can use a loofah, exfoliating glove to avoid any ingrown hairs from growing in.
  • What kind of wax do you use?
I use a soft wax for sensitive skin (works great for everyone) and I also use a Soy Wax. On occasion I will bring in a special wax (chocolate, & lavender for example.) I will always ask if you have allergies to those particular ones.
  • What Is a Lash Lift & Tint?
A lash lift and tint is a lash service that perms (curls) and tints (gives them a nice dark mascara look) your natural lashes. Lash lifts use specially-shaped silicone shields to give natural lashes height while extending lashes to their full length.
  • How long is the appointment? How long does it last for?
The appointment time can range between 45mins – 1hr & 15 mins, depending on the clients natural lashes. A lift and tint lasts 6-8 weeks.
  • Can you wear mascara with a Lash Lift & Tint?
Yes, after 24hrs of it being done. However avoid wearing waterproof mascara (rubbing and trying to get waterproof mascara off will make the perm fade faster.)
  • Will a Lash Lift & Tint damage my natural lashes?
Proper care and waiting 6-8 weeks to get it redone will not damage you natural lashes. If its applied correctly and the technician is properly trained no damage!
  • Can I use an eyelash curler after a Lash Lift & Tint?
Lash growth and thickening serums, as well as your regular lash tint, can still be used in conjunction with your Lash Lift treatment. I do not recommend the use of an eyelash curler (as it may cause breakage.)
  • How do I prep prior appointment?
Having no eye makeup, and removing all oils from the face is most important (as anything oily on the natural lashes may cause the lift not to lift properly.) Please remove contact lenses before appointment.
  • What is a Keratin Lash Lift Treatment?
A Keratin Lash Lift is the "Olapex" treatment for your natural lashes. Repair lotion contains keratin and nutrients. To repair and condition the hair, leaving the lashes hydrated and plumped! Note: Takes an extra 5mins to complete service.
  • What is the aftercare?
For your lash lift aftercare with the products I use it is recommended that: - For the first 24 hours do not get lashes wet. - Sleep on your back while they are still setting 24hrs-48hrs. - Do not touch, apply anything on eye area for 24hrs. - Waterproof mascara is NOT reccomended as it will relax your lift faster. - HYDRATE those lashes everyday with a lash serum/conditoner for the 6-8 weeks it lasts.
  • What is a Brow Lamination? (aka Brow Lift)
Brow Lamination is also known as a Brow Lift, Fluffy Brows or Brow Perm. Brow lamination is the hottest new trend in the quest for bigger, neater and/ or fuller looking brows. This is the perfect solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry or where the hairs follow a different pattern. With Lamination, we can realign the brows to give them the desired shape you want or a 'Fluffy', fuller look This treatmemt solves the messy brow issue, creates volume and fullnesss and gives you a sleek, well-kept brow shape for up to 8 weeks. We recommend booking a brow shape/ wax at the same time. A Brow Lift can dramatically enhance the shape of your eyebrows, helping you to achieve your dream brows. From an extreme brushed up look to a sleek and neat (and everything in between), your brows will appear fuller in an instant using your existing brow hair, making it a great microblading alternative. In order to achieve this lift, brow lamination relaxes and reforms the hairs, which also makes them easier to manipulate in to your desired position - another bonus if you have unruly hairs! Your morning beauty routine just got a whole lot quicker.
  • Who is an Ideal candidate?
Brow lamination works for most eyebrow shapes and styles, from full to sparse, so its ideal for anyone looking to improve the overall look of their brows. Those who are thinking of microblading but not wanting to make the permanent decision yet. Best to grow brows out 4 weeks prior to appointment.
  • How can I prepare for a Brow Lamination?
No face tanners a week prior, leave brows alone (the more untamed they are the better. Avoid using exfoliates, AHA, or retinoids 1-2 weeks prior to appointment.

  • How Long do Brow Lamination Results Last?
Brow Lamination results will vary from client to client but in most cases last upwards to 8 weeks. Once the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle, clients can repeat the procedure again.
  • Can I have a Brow Lamination if I have Microblading / Permanent Brow Make-up?
Yes. If there is some brow hair where the Microblading/ shaping is present, then a Brow lift will look great. If you recently had microblading/ permanent make up, please wait until the brow skin is fully healed, up to 6 weeks before a brow lamination treatment.
  • What is the aftercare?
The aftercare is very simple when it comes to Brow Lamination. The most important points to remember are: - Do not wet your eyebrows for 24-48 hours - Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils - Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post-treatment - Do not apply Retin A, aha or exfoliate the brow area for 72 hours before or after the treatment - No self-tanner products should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post-treatment, and at least 1 week pre-treatment - Apply a lash/brow conditioner, or hydrating oil such as coconut or caster oil daily.
